Communications

Strategy

Strategic message development. It all starts with what you want to say and to which audience. Make sure your message is strategic, systematic, and comprehensive for maximum impact across various channels.

Public relations counsel. Gaining the perspective of a seasoned expert is helpful in so many realms, and no less in public relations. Make sure you have an advisor you can trust to help guide you or to offer a second opinion to help you succeed.

Speaking opportunities. Getting the gig is an important part of getting your message out. Landing the opportunity is a critical first step. Work with me, and I will advise you on how to get more of these or serve as part of your team to secure your spot on stage.

Leadership transitions. The character of the leader is the character of the organization. Make sure your employees are secure and motivated to continue their excellent work during this time of change at the top of your organization.

Change messaging. Communicating throughout an organizational change can help employees and supporters feel confident that the company remains committed to its mission, regardless of changes in personnel, department revamps, or new opportunities.

Speaking

Speech crafting and editing. Strategic messaging is a comprehensive strategy, and a speech should be in line with that message to help move hearts and minds to action. I will help you craft or adjust a speech that helps you make the impact you want.

Speaker coaching. Your message is important, and how you present it matters, too. Work with me, and I'll show you how to bolster your strongest points, remove distractions, and create a flow that will have your audience with you and leaning in for more.

Speaker introductions. This under-rated component of an event may seem like a minor detail but can add sizzle to how a presenter begins and sustains. I can help you craft a speaker introduction that will "Wow!" your audience without overshadowing the presenter's message. Everyone needs an opening act, so make sure your presenter has one that is worthy.

SOS last-minute help. While it's better to prepare a communications strategy well in advance, last-minute consultation can offer crucial recommendations for a more successful outcome—more wins and fewer missteps.

Pronunciation clarity/accent reduction. You're a successful executive thriving in a language that isn't your native tongue. If you have received feedback regarding clarity, I can show you how to speak even more effectively. It could be that enhance the clarity of just two or three consonants will enhance your speaking delivery. My counsel is based on my study of speech-language pathology and my understanding of the phonetic alphabet.

Emcee and event scripts. Ensure your event presentation flow and script will impress your audience.

Toasts. Make sure your tribute at a special occasion is a hit and not a flop.

Eulogies. When the time comes, you will want to demonstrate dignity and grace as you honor the person for who they were. Your words will be a profound tribute and a blessing for those gathered.

Job interview training. Make sure you're presenting your best in this unique life situation without making the mistakes that many people do. The stakes are big, and I'll help you rise to meet and exceed expectations for the occasion.
